He served in the Visian Army for five years from 15BA to 10BA, before he reportedly elected to surrender his freedom to Maverick to serve as his Unknown, being collared on the 4th Festdus of Firewax 10BA. Following the Devolvement of Non-Consensual Slavery in Visia, Carter elected to remain as Viceroy Maverick's slave.
