Megaira Sonnique was the Queen of the kingdom of Ancient Mironia, though when exactly her reign began is disputed. It is thought perhaps that there were multiple Queens each named Megaira Sonnique who ruled in succession of each other, or that the name was passed down with the throne, as records of her reign go back much further than even elven lifespans could explain.
Legend states the first Queen Megaira Sonnique was a blind woman who remained devout despite great tragedies in her life. As reward is is said she was so blessed by the gods that she created what would later become known as the Sky Palace from prayer alone. It is suggested that Megaira was a high priestess, though to which God or Goddess she was devoted is unknown.
The last recorded mention of a Megaira Sonnique is in 3215BA when she reportedly disappeared, leaving her granddaughter Amoira Sonnique to rule in her place.
