The party goes through literal bureaucratic hell to attempt to save the soul of Ariana Maneision, the aunt of Abreau Maneision, who bargained it in order to bring her husband, Gus Maneision back. The party succeeded, gaining the Voiding Contract allowing them to save Ariana's soul... and also gaining a headache.
However, prior to helping Ariana, the group was sent on a mission to ''prove their worth'' in the Neverwinter Woods. There, they stumbled upon a fairy who tried to get them away with the an illusion card of a Red Dragon. After they saw through her illusion and she realized they weren't a threat, she asked them for help. One of her friend who is a druid named Stefan had been murdered. The group investigated the body, and found a Tarokka card on it. They resurrected him, and they learned the man who murdered him made a comment about his hatred towards Vistani, before killing him, and Stefan heard it before dying, but that's all Stefan knows.
