Liam's Hold is located a day south of Daggerford, along the Trade Way. In 1494 DR, the population had been growing and had reached 140. Sadly, in 1495 DR, the hamlet was afflicted with a disease called the Blue Oozing Fever. There were many deaths, totaling 55, bringing the population to 85.
The adventurers of the Hawthorne Guild Ophelia D'Vespere and Horace went to investigate and discovered the cause of the disease was a demon who had made home on the material plane underneath the hamlet, and were able to stop it before it spread further. Luckily, those who had been diseased, but still alive were able to be cured when the demon was sent back to the Abyss.
The hamlet is ringed by a low stone wall. The main point of interest in the hamlet are the Holdfast Inn and Liam's Tower. The inn and tower are located at the south end of the village. The tower was known to be the fortress home of the wizard Sunder Halyndliam whose ghost is said to be guarding the tower along with other outer planar beings.
