Beefswell (his name to outsiders, his true name can only be revealed to those of his clan, and he is the last of his clan) of the Clan Stonehide, was once a sailor on his clan's reaving ship. He was always a bit uncomfortable with the ways of his people, but as a young Minotaur in his clan, he followed orders. However, his clan's ship was damaged in a battle at sea, and though they won the battle, their ship was left adrift, and finally sunk during a storm. Beefswell was the only survivor of the shipwreck. As the last of his clan, it is his duty to bring glory and honor to his clan's name or die in obscurity. With the freedom, though, to choose his own path to it, he has decided to show the Minotaur people that there is another way besides reaving and pirating, and joined the Paladin order, and is determined to become a noble hero. He befriended Ragnar Battlehammer while they were squires in the Paladin order, and on becoming full fledged Paladins, they set out into the world together. He reveres Kiri-Jolith, the minotaur god of holy war against injustice, courage, and honor.

Ragnar is the third child and only son of the infamous gentleman explorer, Vondal Battlehammer and the fighter, Nora Holderhek. His mother was originally hired as Vondal's bodyguard, but she fell for him, and the 2 eventually married and had 3 children. Due his father's profession and tendencies, the family moved often. His mother was accidentally killed by a huntsman's stray arrow when Ragnar was a boy. Despite the tragedy, Ragnar grew to be a jovial, friendly young man. Eventually tiring of the road, he settled down in a small village, where he took up as a smith's apprentice. Here he met his love, the barmaid, Helja Silveraxe. One night, Helja was closing up the tavern, when she was assaulted by a rich merchant's son. She defended herself, killing her attacker. Unfortunately, she was falsely convicted and executed for murder. Ragnar, feeling rage, sorrow, and helplessness, left the village to begin his paladin training. He vowed to protect the humble and meek from the the wicked and greedy. Following in the footsteps of his fierce mother and wandering father, Ragnar began traveling the land with his sworn brother Beefswell, determined to protect and heal the good and just and to punish the wicked and corrupt.

Ragnar is a mountain dwarf, and as such is short, stout, and sturdily built. He has a thick neck, and an upper body made broad and strong by years of swinging hammers and weapons. Despite Ragnar's otherwise impressive physique, he has an ample gut, being overfond of food and drink. Ragnar has ruddy skin and is bronze of hair. He has a long braided beard, and is covered in bushy body hair. His eyes are ice blue, and set under massive bushy brows. Ragnar has a friendly face, but wouldn't be considered handsome.

Cinna has left the monastery in search of a block of cheese, he has always believed cheese had natural abilities to empower him and upon reading in an ancient tome of an artifact of his faith lost to the ages he has put two and two together. His fellow monks believe him to have gone mad and are happy to be rid of him, but Selune will rejoice when he retrieves her Night Cheese. On his travels Cinna met Bagnos Krondeg. The pair found they're goals aligned with Cinna investigating every rumor of a magical artifact and Bagnos, with the aid of the Emerald Enclave,  seeking to prevent the threat to the natural balance posed by those artifacts falling into evil hands.

Cinna is light brown skinned halfling and relatively androgynous. He wears no armor, just a dark gray robe, cinched high. He keeps his hands wrapped for unarmed combat although he spent his training at the monastery focusing on the quarterstaff.

As Cinna has explored the shadows throughout his time with the Band of Beefswell, he has kept his quarter staff on his back and taken to finding enemies weak spots with Gordin's Glowing Dagger, wearing his hood up over his shaggy hair, and donned a pair of goggles that let him see in the dark.

Gordin was a young boy when he returned from foraging to discover everyone from his village gone with out a trace. He raised himself in the empty town and learned arcane secrets from the library of the village elder, Cauthon. Through years of surviving on his own and study, he grew his powers and made the beginnings of a discovery. He resolved to strike out into the world and learn the fate of his people, how they came to disappear and who is responsible.

It's not easy being a Half-Elf in the mostly human town of Waterdeep. It's especially difficult if you've never met your mother and your father is too busy working for the Harpers to pay you much attention. Ab Dae found solace in the lute, and purpose in the Harpers, attempting to follow in his father's (Eb Dae) footsteps. Ab spent most of his free time practicing his music in the wilds around Waterdeep, trying to get away from the at-times oppressive racism shown to non-humans. Newly recruited by the Harpers, Ab has spent the last few weeks performing in taverns across Waterdeep, carousing with patrons while trying to get information about a shadowy organization known as The League.

Ab has been dispatched by the Harpers to assist an Emerald Enclave operative in disrupting a group of elemental cults. The Harpers believe there is a link of some sort between the cults and the Monster League, it is up to Ab to learn more and do what he can to protect Faerûn.

Tall half elf bard with a lute on his back and his research journals always accessible. Appearance is almost celestial after pledging his soul to the light. Spends too much time making his cloak billow in the wind just because he can.

Donkey Ho Tay is an integral member of the Band of Beefswell.
Donkey faithfully carries the extra weapons and supplies of the other members of the Band.
