Dies Victoria

3131-2-28

History of Dies Victoria:

Dies Victoria, also referred to in the common tongue as the "Day of Victory", is an event held all throughout Imperium during the Spring month, with the parade usually falling on the last day of the month on the 28th.

It is a day of rejoice that the collective Kingdom of Imperium lived on for another year, and a celebration that through their acts of victory, will continue to live on for years to come. Traditionally, small-to-medium sized fairs will be held in every major village and town, with even smaller villages along Imperium's outskirts having a smaller, traditional festivals.

The main city states will generally have a large parade in their central capital, with the largest act of celebration coming in the King's territory of Sparta, Imperium.

The parade will consist of many various floats and other structures wrought forth with pneumatic and piston-operated accessories. A vast majority of them are crafted in mechanical laboratories around the nation, and flown to Sparta via airships. Often, there will even be some culturally-crafted floats made by smaller yet eager portions of the population.

Note: There may be dragon racism, as dragons were Imperium's oldest known enemies.
