On this day, the Blackpowder Mercenaries, with the Silvenar, Green Lady, and Bosmer forces from across Valenwood, entered the city of Falinesti, first through the Falinesti Crest Tree. There, they found Maesael's headquarters, cracked his code, and fought with Maesael and his generals. With the Soul Trap spell, Maesael's soul was captured before it could transition to a clone.
The party discovered Maesael's plans and is aware now that he sent men to the Isle of Artaeum, which had just recently returned to the area of the Summerset Isles after many years of being elsewhere. Venturing to Falinesti's port, they acquired an impounded ship that belonged to Arauka Mithlasse and set sail for Artaeum.
