In service to others, travel the Realms offering burial and funeral services to the loved ones of the recently-deceased, for proper honorary tithe.

When called upon to assist the dying, do all in your power to make them comfortable.

Offer the true perspective that death was an inevitable transition from the burdens of life.

Assist those who are dying with their remaining affairs, such as final decrees, last wills and testaments. It is common for us to draft cryptic verses that guide the living inheritors to search for their inheritance - "For the living shall dance to the bidding of the dead."

In return for a "Skull Fee" a Myrkulyte priest may act as an agent for someone after their death, carrying out any final arrangements or deeds they could not complete in life.

We perform the rite of raising the dead for those of other faiths who bring a dead body to one of our temples, but we rarely raise the dead of our own accord.

Myrkul takes care that all mortals think of him often - he is even known to materialize beside open graves, scythe in hand, just to gaze around at gathering mourners for a few silent breaths before fading away, in order to remind everyone that he is waiting for them all.
