I don't even think he's been to New York!

Friendly seller of hotdogs, wieners, and the occasional hoagie. He's been a staple of Cape Coast High for... well, as long as anyone can remember. He's just referred to as "the hot dog guy". One of the staples of buying food from him is his patented personal explosion of flavor where he asks a few random questions then mixes up some mystery condiment personally tailored to one's individual taste. Due to limited time only a few students can get one a day, so there can often be a rush to his cart on the days he rolls up at lunch.

Ineffably friendly, a bright smile on his face. Some students feel so comfortable around him they've spilled all sorts of drama and problems. He's quick to give advice or a free snack to lift their spirits. Nobody really knows who he even is, and teachers barely even acknowledge his existence.

He constantly wears tourist apparel, and his cart is plastered with postcards from abroad. People think he must have a relative who sends them because he doesn't seem to know much about anywhere. Once when asked about the leaning tower of Pisa he remarked "Huh. That sounds like a lot, do you think they ate them all after... or did they throw some out?" with misty eyes.
