The second tallest peak in The Barrier Mountains, and one of the most northerly of the eastern range, Skyggenål climbs to a narrow spur of rock that towers a thousand feet above it's neighbours. As the sun dips the mountain casts a thin slender shadow that stretches across the snow and forests for close to a hundred miles.
