The Basilisk Desert stretches from the edge of the trees on the east side of Ghaggar-Hakra River from Ressaria.
Largely uninhabitable, partly due to the basilisks roaming the desert and partly due to its inhospitable landscape, the Basilisk Desert is a feature of importance to only three groups;
The Ressaria, but most often regard it as an unnecessary danger, preferring their underwater tunnel system to reach the adjacent river.
The Barba-Rhea occasionally venture through the mountains and into the Basilisk Desert. When food grows scarce, Barba-Rhea will hunt anything they can find in the desert, even the basilisks themselves. Occasionally, Barba-Rhea have even been known to domesticate basilisks and bring them home with blinders on.
