My idea for Brahms family and their business is they are fairly old money, owning a really successful fishery and cannery that started back in the mid 1800’s, slowly building and building up to be a low level national brand (like a regional brand). That is the families historical business but lately most of the family wealth comes from a import export business, several shipyards that manufacture boats (mainly fishing vessels) a line of high end luxury speedboats, And a shit ton of real estate investment into properties around cape cod all managed under Brahms Maritime Interests LLC.
