PERSON REMOVAL UNION

MISSION REPORT - Locate murderer of investigation subject Hayk-ebasa-ged'wen

Agents:

Kor-au-k'onijo-tenagarī

Magri el Sabine

Report Author:

Kor-au-k'onijo-tenagarī

Agent Magri, following a viscerally violent reaction to the murder of Hayk-ebasa-ged'wen, was recommended to be taken off active duty pending a psychological evaluation. His behaviour both prior to and including the incident noted later in this report, alongside his own physical and psychological abuse at Hayk's hands as well as that of his surviving siblings, gives me cause to believe that he intended to kill Hayk himself.

Subject Hayk-ebasa-ged'wen, known by the street names of "The King of Mouldtown" and "Hayk the Butcher", was a notorious Crocodilid Lizardfolk crime lord in the Mouldtown area of Ādīsi Geneti, with ties to multiple other criminal organizations across The New Republic of Bēti and the rest of The New World. He was under investigation by us due to his potential ties to slave trafficking, drug smuggling and child exploitation rings. Hayk's body was found outside what is believed to be his home, decapitated and showing signs of a heavy struggle and of being mutilated while alive. His head was not recovered.

Blood found on the site led us to one Qau-dibab-āy'ḥāk-āy'āda, a failed medical trainee turned adventurer. Subject is noted to be a Bētin Chameleon Lizardfolk estimated to be in his early twenties, noted to be very muscular for his race and covered in prominent scars but also very intelligent. His reasons for committing the crime are unknown but deliberate interference with our investigation has been ruled out.

Aided by local informants, I tracked the target into The Emerald Lantern tavern, where I discovered him already engaged in a fistfight with Agent Magri, who had broken orders to get there first and apparently make him pay for disabling permanently his ability to get revenge. Agent Magri was left with a bleeding gum, a bloody nose and a missing incisor tooth, all caused by him being tripped and smashing his head on the bar. Subject Qau seemed mostly unharmed with the exception of a black eye, seemingly from being sucker-punched. Agent Magri was taken into custody to calm down but subject Qau left. The subject's current location is unknown.

This mission is considered incomplete due to the disappearance of the subject. Agent Magri is still on suspension of duty pending a psychological assessment.
