Blade Mastery

Feat

You master the shortsword, longsword, scimitar, rapier, katana, wakizashi, kodachi, sword cane, juan, nodachi, and greatsword. You gain the following benefits when using them:

  • As a bonus action, you may feint to try and lure a creature within reach of you into a disadvantaged position, potentially allowing you to strike the killing blow. The creature must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw with a DC equal to 8 + Proficiency + Strength or Dexterity. On a failed save, the target falls for your ruse, granting you advantage on your next attack roll against them.
  • As a reaction to being struck by a melee attack, you may try to parry the blow with your expert technique as long as it is not a critical hit. Make an attack roll with your currently wielded weapon, treating the enemy's attack roll as the target AC. On a successful hit, you parry the strike, negating it entirely. You may use this reaction a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all uses on a long rest.
