The crew decided today to travel to a distant elven tower, on the premise it would reveal forgotten secrets that could be presented to a talking statue to gain favour, as ridiculous as it sounds I am willing to believe this fairy story after already seeing a talking picture of a ghost trapped in a crypt, so I rounded up my army and we set about venturing afar.
As is the nature of the beast, once in the tower the crew barged violently into room after room that brought terror amongst us, my chaotic shout to repel lifeless beasts did naught, probably weakened by the interfering cries of the other holy man they'd brought, so I resorted to my trusty spear to stab them.
The great warrior amongst us with his noisy axe chopped up the near dead in quick succession, only his dog falling to the ghastly chill of their claws, finally a blackened knight attempted to deceive us with illusions but we saw though and cut it to dust.
Finally we discovered a library of ancient elven tomes, which the crew decided would be sufficient to get the despondent statue to respond to their demands, or so they say. So buried in books like a travelling arcanum we wound back to the town.
A somewhat dainty haul, with magical items distributed amongst the crew, one of which are looking fine in elvenwear, perhaps they would like someone to slice their upper lobes for the more pointy look.
