Another day, another fight. I've ventured back to the caves, joined by Kaiden, the bald cleric, and Emmett, a thief we've recruited to help us investigate further.
Kaiden also retained Luxia, to help us carry severed hands and hold some torches, whilst we adventure.
We came through the same entrance and had several quick skirmishes, killing 12 of those hairy creatures. I felt young again, almost like the good old glory days…
Kaiden perished in the most suspicious manner. All the beasts had crude weapons, while he had a small piercing wound on his throat—almost like an arrow wound. Luxia was quick to put on his armour. That I financed. And she left the chainmail in the cave. Emmett never said anything.
I'll have to keep an eye on both.
Interesting information gathered:
- There was a group of elves in the tavern who are searching for a tower. They refused help.
- We recovered a helmet with WK inscribed on the inside. The scribe said it might've belonged to Wizlot Korn. He ventured to the cave with a party of 6; none returned. The room we found the helmet in had a roasted human.
- A disgusting and massive creature let us pass. It seemed to be amused with whatever Luixa and Emmett offered it.
