Port Verge on the isle of Questor is the seat of power for Kolberkon, leader of the Diresharks. Though his capital is not as large or as well developed as Regalport, Kolberkon has plans to change that. His hope of leading the Principalities rests on his ability to outshine Ryger ir'Wynarn in every way, and Port Verge is his starting point.

Kolberkon has struck deals with the Order of the Emerald Claw and House Lyrandar for the financing of his grand schemes, but he is well aware that these alliances carry risks. In particular, Lyrandar is intent on expanding its influence in the Principalities—and of ultimately gaining at least partial control over the Lhazaar merchant fleets.

Port Verge is the royal port of the Direshark Principality. Prince Kolberkon yearns to expand Verge and overshadow Regalport, and he is always looking for capable adventurers and allies. The Blood of Vol has a strong presence in Port Verge, and Kolberkon recently allowed House Lyrandar to establish an enclave there. But Kolberkon’s thirst for glory may lead him to foolish bargains.

Positioned close to the heart of Eel Bay, Port Verge would appear to have premium access to the trade of the Lhazaar Principalities. Despite this, the city remains a smaller, less developed version of Regalport. Its harbor isn’t as deep, restricting the massive ships that conduct intercontinental trade with Riedra. A legacy of mismanagement has left few maritime merchants interested in stopping by to trade and restock on supplies despite the seemingly prime location. As such, most of Port Verge’s trade is in the fish trade of so many smaller and less well-positioned villages and towns.
