~Critical Weapons Failure~

Rules! Handout

During combat, a roll of 96-100 results in automatic failure. The failure results in that weapon losing 1 CND. If the weapon is below half Condition (CND), that weapon's failure is upgraded to a critical failure and the player must roll on this chart for additional effects. Some weapons may have their own Critical Failure Charts. In such cases refer to the Weapons List and check under notes/additional effects.



1-5Jammed (Must spend 2 AP to unjam.)
6-8Dropped Weapon (Must Spend 4 AP to pick it up.)
9Weapon Backfires (Deal Weapon DAM to Self, -1 CND)
10Weapon Explodes (Deal Weapon DAM to everything within 1 hex, -2 CND)
