Merc
Player Character

Downtime:

Merc spends his time too curious for whats good some might say. He talks to people, meets people and always fascinated by them. He has not spent much time with people so learning about them, how they walk, talk, behave is of great interest.

He also fiddles with his bow on an almost constant basis, trying to figure out and unlock it's secrets while simultaneously fiddling with small trinkets and pieces of wood, trying to build or craft minor snares (or bigger) not exactly an inventor, it is taking him quite awhile...

Backstory

It has been a rough beginning for “Merc” in his life. The earliest memory he has is waking up in the wilderness, alone. Only a cup back then. Only 2 things to his name… A note with a name on; Merc and a bow of intricate design. The bow is as if it is cut out from a single piece of wood. It has followed the growth of our little cup and it only seem to be he, who can pull back the bowstring.

He has had no choice but to survive on his own, hunting in the wilderness, walking around aimlessly, trying to find purpose.

The settlements he found in his travels, trying to figure out where he came from, who he is, have all given him a name. Merc, probably derived from the word Mercenary but our cup who is now a full grown Catfolk, have taken the name to heart.

Merc has accepted who he is, no real name, no family and have adapted his life around it. He has started a career in Bounty Hunting and Treasure hunting. Helping people finding lost trinkets and law enforcement find fugitives and criminals.

Not so much the latter, he just began his career in Bounty Hunting…

Though he is an orphan with not much to his name, his charm and personality helps him form meaningful relationships with few people here and there.

One fond memory he has, is of a quest to find a lost amulet for a wealthy older lady. He met up with the most interesting angry little Goblin. Gibnik. Hired him for servitute. It was so much fun working with him.  They formed quite a bond and Merc did not consider Gibnik his employee as much as he considered him a friend. He wonders where Gibnik is in his life, they had to cut ties since it was revealed the wealthy older lady was not just a sweet woman, but part of a crime family and the entire mission collapsed underneath Merc and he had to run and disappear. Something he is quite good at I must add. But nonetheless, disappear he did, to big dismay of Gibnik one can only assume.

They were friends for a time.
