Recap before Ari's dungeon & Level 14! :D

After returning to Waterdeep from a successful diplomatic mission to Thay, the party soon found itself in a large scale attack from the Quori against all cities in the sword coast.

The street the party was decimated by a power breath attack from an almost ghostly/spectral dragon, at which an ambush was obviously sprung as more quori appeared around the party.

An ancient white dragon seemed to be in conflict with Lady Elia Moonbearer (Ancient Silver Dragon in disguise) in the distance, and that part of town was quickly covered in a prison of 30ft high ice sheets and pillars.

But the party had to focus on the fight at hand... with some incredibly lucky rolls (multiple nat 20s) and horrible rolls from the DM (...) the battle was difficult, some members dropping unconscious, others barely holding by (1hp).

Even Zhenag who had been holding off monstrous fiendish creatures found herself heavily bruised and beaten (<20 hp). Once the party killed all nearby enemies involved in their ambush they rushed towards the clearly active combat that the Silver and White dragon were still in.

The final enemy, a clearly possesed caster had been raining thunder and lighting with great power.. and this was not the only one...

They rushed through the many streets, avoiding the worst war parties and aiding where they could. As they reached Elia Moonbearer's estate.. the fight between the two dragons suddenly died down after a large quake and a heavy roar rumbled through the sky like thunder.

While wandering through the thick icey mist, they uncovered more strange things. Perfectly cut circles from walls and floors. As if an area had disintegrated in various spots within this fight.

They also found body parts from both the silver and white dragon, portraying just how brutal this fight must have been.

After some searching they found Elia Moonbearer in her human form, seemingly  hiding, and a dead white dragon. Apparantly a possesed mage huging gravity magic was flying around, trying to finish the job.

The party escaped by clever use of invisibility powder that Ari had picked up previously. After a short rest they went to hunt down this wizard and slayed him.

After all this chaos died down. Arivathras was informed that he should visit his church soon, Father Murphy had much to discuss and was not looking good. So the next day the party went to Neverwinter.

This ended up being about a death knight being locked up in one of the catacombs below Neverwinter, that Father Murphy was surpressing, but no longer could after expending all his energy during this large attack.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Zhenag went to inspect and aid the orcs in Neverwinter, finding her familiar shaman and acquantainces repairing their walled city district. Much as the dead count was high in Waterdeep, so did the orcs suffer too.

But while orcs do mourn, they do send off their dead with a feast to celebrate life.

The shaman having heard of your and the Headhunter's exploits does offer you some teaching, as he guides you through what he call spiritual symbiosis... or whatever he called it. He said it was better than astronoming.

Perhaps it is the alcohol or just the fatigue of the day before but this was an extremely odd experiences, where scenes with extremely bright colors quickly shift to monochrome sceneries, shifting from forest, to mountain, to city, to forest.

Before it all zooms in on Beer again, walking around a Stone Henge like structure, rubbing his small tusks against, as if trying to scrape these large monoliths away.

This is a scene that Zhenag might vaguely recall, where they had stopped the Spiritseekers from summoning the great Gorthok, the elephant sized boar that served the evil god Talos.

You do not know how long you watched Beer carve away at these large stone columns, but as times seems to speed up it is just this constant charging, again, again, again.

The flowers on the ground seem to start blooming, the area gets warmer.. before all the leaves in the trees around you seem to drop, and snow starts falling, only leaving this small track of Beer running back and forth without snow.

This cycle repeats, Beers seems to grow ever so slightly with every season you see passing. And before you fully realise you hear a loud crack in the stone as Beer charges at it one last time.

The pillar collapsing and thunder engulfing not only Beer but also you. While on guard at first, it almost feels like a calming warmth running over you.

Whatever Beer released does not draw ill intent towards you, no, it seeks to aid you... you and its small offspring before you.

Now no longer translucent green, but adorned with a thick brown coat of brislting fur, although this tiny green pluck in his mohawk still remains.

"I will leave Beer in your care, as you have proven to be a great teacher and friend. Let him protect you, let him experience all the hardships in life as they come, so he may learn, and not make the same mistakes as I."

As  Beer walks over and rubs your leg, a sensation you often dreamed off but never truly felt, visions of your friends fighting in a dark looking temple also flash in your mind like painful stings.

Vishara, knocked to the ground. Arivathras pulled towards a big skeleton knight by a large spectral hand, Mordai running away from even more... "I see a worthy first test has appeared... I shall open a path.. so make haste... let Beer's first physical day not be one filled with sorrow."

As lightning sprouts from the various pillars in this Stonehenge like structure it is almost like a portal, more akin to a long tunnel is formed. Where in the large distance you see the exact scene you got small glimpses off just now."
