Scillia Festival

Religious Festival
1025-6-30

The Scillia Festival is an event held every year in on the Savinian coast of northern Medina dedicated to the sea Goddess Scillia. The event lasts for three days with the second day being the night of two full moons at the end of Muvay and the beginning of Avunai.

The festival is to appease Scillia and her wild moods to allow safe naval passage in the area for the upcoming year. During the night of the double full moon, participants will go into the sea naked for Scillia to wash away a year of good deeds. The more people offer good deeds, the calmer the ocean will be.
